NASA / EPSCoR
The Experimental Program to Stimulate Competitive Research (EPSCoR) seeks to to strengthen research and education in science and engineering throughout the United States.
EPSCoR provides strategic programs and opportunities for EPSCoR participants to stimulate their R&D capacity and competitiveness.
The program advances science and engineering capabilities in EPSCoR jurisdictions for discovery, innovation and overall knowledge-based prosperity.
The Mississippi Space Grant Consortium is pleased to announce NASA/EPSCoR travel funds available for Faculty at MS Universities in the STEM fields to travel to NASA Centers and Mission Directorates to develop new relationships with NASA Scientists and Engineers.
Info regarding NASA/EPSCoR MSSGC Travel Funds Requests:
Travel funds are available to Faculty to help them develop new relationships with NASA scientists and engineers at the Mission Directorates and/or Field Centers. The total amount budgeted for this purpose is $19,383 for a three year period. NASA/MSSGC will award up to $1,750 per faculty to support this travel. The timeframe for travel is 2/1/2016 – 5/31/2018.
